It's been a long December
Well my baby is now 2 months old since I last posted. I can't believe how fast time goes. We have been so busy with the holidays and new baby that blogging is last on the list of things to do. Today I am tired of cleaning, laundry, and taking care of babies so I am finally going to put some new pictures on.
Sophie has changed so much she looks like a totally new baby. She lost a lot of her hair and so we just shaved the rest off so now she looks nothing like her first pictures.
We had a great Christmas and had so much fun with Ava this year. It was fun to see her so excited about everything related to Christmas. It was also exciting to have Sophie with us and has been fun to watch her grow and develop.
Now it is back to reality and work in a couple of weeks.
So here are some updated photo's of the family:

Sophie Ann Thompson

Well, she's finally arrived. Sophie was born this morning at 9:53. She weighed 8 lbs. 9 oz. and was 20.5 inches long. Everything went very quickly, and mother and baby are doing very well. Marti progressed quickly and was only in labor (after receiving pitosin) for about 2 hours. I'll attach some pictures of Sophie. Welcome to the world cutie!

Just trying to keep busy
Well I am officially overdue with this pregnancy. My due date was yesterday and this baby is still hanging in there as of now. So I am just trying to keep busy and be patient. There have been a few false alarms so we will see maybe this weekend. I am scheduled to be induced on Tuesday if nothing happens so we are just going to have to wait and see.
In the meantime I am updating my blog and doing meaningless tasks like ironing the bed skirt to keep my mind off of my misery.
So my cute sister-in-law sent me some cute pictures of Ava and her cousin at the scarecrow festival at Thanksgiving Point this last weekend. Thanks again Jamie for the pictures! Jaydin and Ava are so cute together.

9 months pregnant
I've decided to post a picture of me 9 months pregnant since I am almost done with this pregnancy and some of my family haven't seen me. With Ava I can only find one picture of me pregnant and with this pregnancy I don't have any so as hard as it is to look at the picture here it is..
I've got less than 2 weeks to go. I am so excited and can't wait for this new addition. Hopefully all is healthy and well with the new baby and things go smoothly.

Ava is missing her grandparents

Ava's grandparents are on a mission in Montana and every once in awhile she starts to talk about them being on their mission. The other day she found a belt and this tie I was using for something else and she got it in her head that she was going on a mission. Bart helped her with her tag but she found a missionary bag and shoes all by herself. For the rest of the day she wore that outfit and kept saying she was going on a mission. You don't think they are listening but then they come up with funny things like this.
So Mom and Dad here is a tribute to you. Hope you are enjoying your mission and things are going well. We miss you but are so glad that you are able to serve others in Montana.

Not feeling it this week
The baby countdown changed to 30 weeks and I'm not feeling this week's information. I just wanted to clarify, because I wouldn't admit on my blog if I was experiencing breast leakage! I just noticed the countdown changed, and I talked on my last post about the back pain it talked about, not the breast leakage. Pregnancy is going well though. I can't believe I'm already at 30 weeks. It is really sneaking up on me. Hopefully, the baby is growing and healthy and will be on time or maybe a week early! I definitely wouldn't mind a week early. No names yet but Jana just gave me a cute suggestion I will have to run by Bart.
I wish I had more fun things to say or pictures to post but life is pretty uneventful right now which is good.
